Mission & Philosophy
Not just a studio. A full creative ecosystem.
SocietyKo was founded by Tahir Roundtree, CEO and Creative Director, as a creative studio, cultural hub, and media platform designed to help creators produce, collaborate, and monetize their work.
The creative industry is fragmented. Artists do not have access to professional resources. Studios do not support long term growth. Creators struggle to actually monetize their work. There is no central system that connects creation, exposure, and income.
SocietyKo solves this by combining production, events, education, and media into one ecosystem. Instead of just renting space, we help creators build a career.

Ask the studioNo. Any of the studios can be booked by the hour or by the day as a non member. Members simply pay a lower rate, get priority on the calendar, and carry monthly studio credit.
Recording, podcast, and photography bookings include a house engineer or tech for the duration of the session. If you are bringing your own team, we discount the rate accordingly.
An SSL console with outboard, two treated live rooms, a four camera podcast set, a cyclorama photography stage with strobe and cinema lighting, grip inventory, and a media lab with four edit bays and a color suite.
Coworking access, monthly studio credit, member session rates, priority on the booking calendar, gallery submission priority, and seats in the workshop program depending on your tier.
Yes. The gallery floor and the amphitheater are both available for listening sessions, screenings, launches, and private events. Partner members get first access to the event calendar.
Phase 01 is fully operational today and unaffected by construction. Phase 02 areas open progressively through 2026, and members are notified before each space goes live.
Constantly. The education programming, day rates, and open gallery submissions exist precisely so that access is not gated behind an existing budget or catalog.
